The Voodoo Ballerina’s
Pirouette Awards
The recipients of this award are either an individual artist, a community presence, a nonprofit organization or a service oriented group who are recognized for their continued and persistent courage, commitment to expression and contribution to the community. These recipients set a positive example for others to take risks and to engage fully in the opportunity that life is. They understand the basic truth: doing good makes for our greatest fulfillment, personally and within the community. We recognize them for living at risk, taking chances with their art, work and personal expression and we encourage them to go further out on that limb!

If you know someone who deserves a Pirouette Award, please contact us with the name of the individual or group that you would like to nominate and tell us why. Please include a photo and/or abstract representation of the nominee. A committee of Spirit Guides and last year's Pirouette recipients will choose 10 new people to whom the Voodoo Ballerina will grant the Pirouettes. This honorarium includes a donation, a gift, and entry for 2 to the soiree.
